It started out as a simple project to keep track of what the current third wave of finding the historical Jesus -- but it has grown to the list below (attached Excel File - keep canceling the password request and you'll get there). The list of deeds and sayings attributed to the historical Jesus has answered many of my questions about the New Testament. Some of the current authors listed below have done a service to the quest -- they have helped me discover the "real" Jesus. If you are a perceiver you will continue on because you desire the truth and it will take time. I have listed the accounts of Jesus according to the list started by Crossan and have used this to determine what other scholars and writers believe is the truth. The stratum score will help those to determine what was developed by Jesus himself, what was developed by his disciples and apostles, and what was developed by the early church. Fascinating stuff. Multiple attestations (same story in different places of the New Testament) are used by Crossan to develop his "truth" scoring.
