Tutorials David G. Beshore, P.E. has over 35 years experience as a registered Professional Engineer in the domains of propulsion, energy conversion, synthetic fuels, space launch operations, high performance computing, modeling, simulation, directed energy weapon systems, and project / process management. He is currently a Senior Project Engineer at Aerospace Corporation specializing in Atlas V Launch Operations, GC3 software applications, systems integration and knowledge management. He was a Raytheon Engineering Fellow and CMMI Team Assessor in the Missile Systems SW-CMM Level 5 Software Center from 2001-2004 developing target discrimination algorithms and databases. He was a Boeing Associate Technical Fellow, Process Manager, Chief Architect, Chief Systems Engineer, Lead SE-CMM and SW-CMM assessor and Directed Energy Project Manager from 1987 to 2001. He is a retired officer in the United States Air Force. He has a B.S. in Computer Science from California Lutheran University (1993) and a B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla (1971, 1973). He was president of the LA Chapter of INCOSE from 1999 to 2001, Sponsor Chair for the Las Vegas 2002 INCOSE Symposium, Subchair of the Process, Principles and Applications of the SE Technical Committee of AIAA, and team member of the CMMI.
