The following is from an article published by the 'Lebanon Dail y News' and written by Schuyler C. Brossman concerning the BASHO RE Cemetery in Bethel Township, Berks County, Pa.

Directions to Cemetery: Route 501 North .3 miles North of Merkey 's Meetinghouse, turn left on Bashore Street 1.6 miles to farm w ith large pond on the left. The site is located across the roa d from the pond on the edge of the field along the stream bank . It's hidden by brush and trees.
There are 48 graves, 16 carved stones and one fieldstone.
